About this property

Welcome to Park Savoy Hotel

Park Savoy Hotel is a budget-friendly option located at 158 W 58th St in the heart of New York City’s vibrant commercial district. Its straightforward, no-frills accommodations feature small but clean rooms equipped with air conditioning. The property offers basic conveniences including an elevator and an on-site restaurant and bar, catering to guests seeking essential services without added luxury.

The hotel’s setting is ideal for travelers prioritizing location over space or modern aesthetics. Situated close to major attractions such as Central Park, Times Square, and the Broadway Theater District, it provides easy access to high-end dining and entertainment options. Nearby subway stations and quick transit connections help guests reach Lower Manhattan and other parts of the city efficiently.

Guest feedback is mixed, with many appreciating the unbeatable location and value for money. Some reviewers note that rooms are extremely small and the building feels dated, but for short stays oriented around sightseeing, this is deemed an acceptable trade-off. Noise from street construction and the vintage elevator have been mentioned, alongside generally attentive and helpful staff.

Park Savoy Hotel best suits visitors who plan to spend most of their time exploring the city rather than lingering in their accommodation. Its clean, basic rooms and central setting make it a practical choice for solo travelers, budget-conscious tourists, or anyone looking for affordable lodging near NYC’s key cultural landmarks.

Just what we were looking for : sleep, take a shower and walk out to visit New York City. Don't expect better location for the price. Rooms are tiny but clean. We spent 6 nights at Park Savoy and didn't feel squeezed - probably different for a longer stay. Street public works will give your sleep the tempo as it starts at 6:45 am - not an issue for us with the jet lag (France). Many won't appreciate the breakfast but it's finally the odd moment of the day - Don't wast your time asking a bagle to Rosita ... just point the finger to your choice :-) It's a nice stay and a great location for visiting NYC. We'll go back for sure !

old. clean. extremely small. But why stay in your hotel room? Walk to Central Park , Times Square or a Broadway show. This is the only affordable way to stay in NYC for 5 nights or so. Spend your $ on shows and food instead.

The location and price are the best things about this hotel. The concierge was very helpful and made out stay much better, also. The hotel is dated, but I appreciated it's uniqueness and history. You can get a better looking room with the same amenities in the same location for hundreds of dollars more a night. The subway stations are very close and the park is right around the corner. Going to lower Manhattan takes less than 30 minutes. The room was also larger than expected. Having stayed in more fancy hotels in the city, this room was the largest of any of the others. And it was cheaper. The concierge also changed our assigned room so that we wouldn't be disturbed by the street noise, although I don't think it was very loud at all. The maids are also very sweet and took good care of us. The hotel also offers free coffee and breakfast in the morning (from the pizza place next door(which has delicious pizza)). If you are looking for a hotel with a great location that you will be comfortable at, I suggest this one.

The Park Savoy Hotel was perfectly located near Central Park and a short walk to Times Square. We booked this hotel for a quick one day tourist trip, we didnt plan to spend much time in the room beyond sleepy. You can't beat the price of the rooms. You wont find any location nearby within 20% of the prices they have. That being said, you also get what you pay for. The elevator is from another time. It is generally quicker to hike up the stairs. The rooms are quite small. The rooms, while clean, could stand to be renovated. Our bathroom had a bit of a sewage smell when we first arrived but I was never able to pin down the source. The bed was comfortable however the pillows left something to be desired. Our room was equipped with a room appropriate sized flat screen TV but with very fuzzy reception. The free breakfast offered in reality is a voucher to the shop next door. They have a quite limited selection on bagels and drinks. Space was also quite limited there. If you are trying to hit NYC on a budget, I highly recommend the Park Savoy. If you want more creature comforts, I'd advise on spending a little more somewhere else.

I found this gem through references and I've stayed at the Park Savoy Hotel over a dozen times! Clean, tidy rooms and excellent customer service make Park Savoy THE BEST HOTEL to stay at in NYC without draining your wallet! Located steps away from Central Park and Columbus Circle, it is close to all train lines, restaurants, and a huge CVS in case you need to pick up any items; a quick walk will land you in the center of Times Square. They offer a holding room for your luggage in case you want to check in quickly and hit the town before you settle in, or if you get there early before your reservation. If you'd like a room with more space, ask for a room in the upper floors facing the street, as the rooms in back tend to be smaller. Call well in advance to ensure you get booked; they do fill up. Don't let expensive hotels dampen your NYC experience, go to the Park Savoy and enjoy your trip in a safe neighborhood central to everything fun the City has to offer!

Price was great, small but for the price worth it. The hot and cold water were way off so it was hard to take a comfortable shower. Overall I would stay again but if you are needing a large space this is not the place for you.

This is a men's shelter now, which is great as they assist men in employment and provide transitional housing. However, in the 90's it was a spotty motel-like hotel with many characters. Knew someone staying there temporarily and spent a few different nights there. Close to Central Park.

Mens shelter. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating to my client who has a vision impairment. He was on the 2nd floor in a room alone with his very own bathroom.
